2010 Virtual Poster Session Competition
The Journal of Young Investigators is an exciting, student-led initiative to broaden the scope of the undergraduate scientific experience. As a peer-reviewed journal, JYI provides opportunities for students to participate in the scientific review and publication process. JYI staff members currently represent over 50 academic institutions located in seven countries around the world. Since its inception in 1997, JYI has published over 500 research and features articles and has been profiled in The New York Times, Science, and Nature.
We are pleased to announce our 2010 Virtual Poster Session. Registration for this competition is free and simple. Make a five-minute video of yourself presenting your research poster at home, at school, or at a conference, and submit your video as a response to this YouTube video. You must also complete the registration and abstract forms found at www.jyi.org/virtualposter and email it to sre@jyi.org by Friday, November 19, 2010. Winners will be announced on our website and via email by January 1, 2011. First place will receive a free subscription to Science and a biographical feature on our website. Second and third place will each receive a JYI prize package. We will also feature the top 10 posters on our website.
